Well Neptune is the God responsible for earthquakes, and who created horses so he could get laid (long story that also involves the creation of a half dozen other quadrapeds), so his allusion could point to either of those.I frankly don't understand why so many people think he has to be water-based just because of his name. The boy is terrified of and refuses to be near knee-deep water.

His hydrophobia is so extreme that honestly anything that didn't involve removing water wouldn't make sense if it has to be attatched to an element. Can you forgive me?' To which Ren Responds by glancing at Nora and Saying:'I Suppose' then giving him a thumbs up and mouthing 'mission accomplished'Afterwords the two share a 'Bro hug' while Jaune looks betrayed and the others are just standing there dumbfounded. Neptune isn't dumb he just freaked out over his fear of water. He tries too hard to be cool to the point he sometimes does nonsensical things.

This was still the guy that beat Weiss, Yang and Ruby at a strategy game.Water semblance? I could see him having it and still being scared of water.

He could have had a bad experience and as we saw with Qrow not every one likes or can control their semblance.I have recently been wondering if whatever it is happens to be the reason he got on that ledge. Didn't he say that he had his ways when asked? He does very much seem like the kind of person that cares about being in control of his appearances, at the very least.

Might've been part of the reason why Weiss is like 'this maniacal ship known as 'Titanic' shall be leaving port tonight and setting sail, whether they like it or not.' I detailed most of this in a Pre-V4 Theory with my friends about his entire backstory, actually, which only exists on a Google Doc as of this post.

Again, I don't think this would work well in the show. But maybe they could give that semblance to a character (Not neccessarily Tai) in Grimm Eclipse. It's worth noting that I have not played GE, and I don't know shit about it.That would be the case if it was each consecutive hit did more damage. As it is phrased, I don't think that missing will break the 'combo.' It would be more about the time between succesful attacks. That said, a separate Semblance for consecutive hits works. In newtons laws of motion it says for every action there is a oppisite reaction. So in theory do to Yang having kinetic energy absorbtion when she hits someone she should also absorb the kinetic energy that her fists get from hitting someone or something. In theory she should also be able to absorb the energy of impact of landing and her feet hitting the ground.P.S: I was going to say she would in theory absorb the kinetic energy her fists recieve we making contact with someones face.-The Midnight Dreary.

RWBY's science is pretty damned soft.

And,why not, even broomsticks and pepper spray cans! And,when you're playing co-op,you can even perform some really awesome co-op moves on enemies. Die hard arcade. In this game, there are a bazillion of ways you can kill a bad guy.
